HILT QUARTERLY MEETINGS

The purpose of HILT is to be a network of diverse, small and large healthcare providers in Seattle-King County who come together to share and take action on improving access to a skilled healthcare workforce. Since its launch in May 2018 HILT organizations have made improving equity and diversity in the region’s healthcare workforce a set of guiding principles across HILT’s its committees. The quarterly meetings are a space to discuss the most pressing challenges in the healthcare industry and use the HILT forum to strategize solutions.

This Quarter’s Meeting Goals

1. To provide an ongoing forum for healthcare organizations to network and agree on shared priorities in 2022, including hearing needs and opportunities from healthcare providers.

2. To take stock of events and committees, including Talent Pipeline development activities and gain event and volunteer commitments.

3. To take a deeper dive into the connections between workforce initiatives and programs, and how industry can best leverage these for supporting an expanded recruitment process.

HILT Fall Quarterly Meeting 2021 - November 18th, 2021

The HILT Network discussed quick updates from committee meetings and specific asks from the Talent Pipeline Committee. They also reviewed worked to date on the Good Jobs Challenge grant opportunity in partnership with the tri-county Workforce Development Councils.

HILT's Summer Quarterly Meeting - August 26, 2021

HILT Network leaned in to discuss some of the most pressing challenges experienced by healthcare providers and support partners. A study WCN Impact of COVID-19 on the Nursing Workforce and the key findings was presented by Survey Information Analytics. Mental health is one of the leading concerns for our health care industry. HILT Spring Quarterly Meeting - May 20th, 2021

1. HILT is about partnership, interdependency, collective/amplified voice and muscle in the Healthcare community; it is also a window into our whole industry, when we too often otherwise are restricted to our own organizations’ needs and perspectives.

• It is leverage and learning, even during our hardest year.
