SPEAKERS BUREAU

HILT is creating an exclusive database of healthcare professionals from the Puget Sound region to be speakers at local classrooms, meetings, and events. The HILT Speakers Bureau is available for youth and young adults of color underrepresented in the healthcare industry to learn from healthcare professionals about the healthcare industry and the family-wage healthcare careers and pathways that are in high demand. There is no speaker fee, this is free!

Hear from healthcare professionals who are medical assistants, registered nurses, physicians, and other positions that are in the highest demand, about their educational journey and career pathway to their current position in healthcare. HILT speakers can also explain the challenges and successes of their job, who their fellow team members are that they rely on to do their job, and share resources for scholarships and training opportunities. Topics can be aligned with class curriculum.
